Description

These are great cases for competitive shooters and those who don’t pick up their range brass. They have N R on the headstamp, to indicate that they are not reloadable, however, these have never been fired, so they haven€™t been hardened and can still be loaded. They weigh about two thirds less than standard cases, so for those who are concerned about every ounce, (average case weight is 30.9 grains) this is a way to lighten your overall ammunition weight. Speaking of case weight, these are very consistent.

Manufactured by CCI, these demilled aluminum cases came from loaded ammunition and have never been fired. They are essentially brand new cases but may have a dull shine or minor dings and dents from the bullet pulling process. These are aluminum, so they have a duller finish than brass. Like with all new cases, it is recommended that you resize them before loading to ensure that you have consistent tension. This is especially true with pulled cases as sometimes the case mouth can get dinged a little and it may be hard to seat a bullet without sizing. Sizing can be accomplished by removing the decapping pin from your resizing die. Aluminum can be a €œstickier€ metal, so make sure you lube the cases. When loading these, you’ll want to bell the case mouth just enough to start the bullet, as over-belling can cause the neck to split. We have also found that if aluminum cases are loaded too hot, the primers tend to back out, so these may not be the right product for you if you are always loading your rounds to maximum pressures.

As is the case with all demilled products, you may find a few mixed headstamps. These are Berdan primed.
