ParticipantDo the new 124gr NUKES have the same ogive and profile as the older MPRs? They look the same except the new nukes have obviously a new HP profile to aid in expanding. I ask since I have loads for the MPR and I’ll have a starting point on COL and charges.

ParticipantThanks much.
I would be interested in your data.Jacob from RMR called and made some suggestions that got things working! 🙂
I went with an OAL of 1.120″ and 5.5 gn of silhouette.
Have not done extensive testing but this looks like it is going to work
but not against tweaking it a bit to see what happens. You would have to ask RMR about the profile.
I want some of the newer bullets myself.May 8, 2022 at 9:28 am #429290Joe in Missouri
ParticipantHave changed the load for 124g MPR hollow points for my G26 and G17:
OAL of 1.120″
6.0g of Ramshot Silouette
Which Ramshot lists as a +P loadI am getting 1150 FPS with this load out of the G17
and 1050 FPS out of the G26
I am hesitant to put in enough powder to get 1100 FPS out of the G26.June 8, 2022 at 2:02 am #435337togmaster
ParticipantGood question. I am interested if anyone has the answer. I am down to my last couple thou of the MPR’s and need to reorder soon.

ParticipantFWIW I did a plunk test for set up today using a CZ75 barrel.
Got down to 1.080 before I got free spin.
These are fat lil buggers..November 28, 2022 at 5:52 pm #463246Don
ParticipantThanks for that info Jack, that’s good to hear. I’m finally low enough on my old stock and re-ordered some new. I was curious if the profile had changed any. Doesn’t sound like it has as I am seating them now at 1.07 for my CZ Shadow 2 Orange.

ParticipantTested some on water jugs a coupla days ago. Outside of jacket separation, which is no surprise in that medium with anything not bonded, it looked pretty much like the pics here.
This is the thread with info and pics.
