    Hello all!

    Have looked across the forum briefly and didn’t see any obvious information on any terminal testing for these bullets. I have some of the 75’s but other responsibilities have taken precedence and I have not had time to load much less test them.

    I have seen others asking about performance on game or bullet “response” on soft targets, but no responses.

    Has anyone done any type of testing with these…water jugs, wet paper, wet clay, gel, etc? I’d love to work up loads for plinking that would double if necessary for defense (and I either run short or don’t have my typical SD ammo/projos) should that need ever arise.

    Any responses or help are appreciated!

    Wow…nothing huh?? Was hoping there were some hunters or testers on here. Reckon I’ll have to figure out some “redneckery” and test when I can carve out the time.

    Have been shooting the 69s for 6 months or more. work better than lighter 62 or 55s in my 1 in 7 twist. I am shooting the smallest load I can for $ conservation but have had great results with Accurate 2200, 18.5 grain and Accurate 2015, 19.7 grain. Also Hodgdon 335, 22 grain. All at 100 yards. These are powders that have been available in Ca. Kinda sketchy getting stuff lately as the supply is low and the demand has caused prices to skyrocket. Would like to know if a larger load would increase accuracy and what it would do for distance. Unless I go to the desert 100 yards seems to be about the max I can shoot affordably.

    Hey Jack. Understand about components. Hit or miss on the East coast. Have been able to find a lot of stuff but PRICEY…

    I usually shoot the hottest, most accurate load that I can find for a powder I want to use for the vast majority of my rifle loads. For hunting (medium to large bore) if I can keep 5 shots under 1moa I’m happy (given expected limitations of a gun/caliber…meaning I don’t really hold my older lever guns or iron sighted guns to that standard, modern bolts or gas guns I do). My small bore (223, 6mm, 6.5, etc) I want as tight as I can get most of them. Haven’t played with the 69 or 75 from RMR much but am working on it. Hopefully life will slow down a bit so I can work up some loads.
