ParticipantRMR has 126g “frangible” bullets the are .310-.312. I have a 7.62×39 bolt gun and a 7.62×39 AR15 upper. Both barrels are .308. I know I can shoot surplus or factory 7.62×39 bullets which are .311 our of a .308 barrel. I am questioning if anyone has or knows if these frangible would be safe to shoot out of my bolt gun. “IF” I were to load with these it would be only for my bolt gun with a very light to no crimp. In the disclosures it state the bullet can be damaged when crimped. I question if these bullets will not suffer damage by being pushed through a .308 barrel and prematurely break apart in flight? I know I can load .308 bullets in 125g for my bolt gun and likely will stick with that unless these frangible bullets will work and not harm my barrel.
