I just ran a ladder loading using 700x, 3.7 gr through 4.4 gr, 1/10 of a grain increments. I used mixed brass, CCI 500 primers and 124gr TC Matchwinners. I shot them out of a Canik TP9 V2. I ran the OAL too short at 1.06 and had some pressure issues. The 4.3gr and 4.4gr loadings showed signs of overpressure. I should have loaded to an OAL of 1.100 with that bullet.
I’m using 700x right now because I got most of a 12lb keg, cheap. I now know why my friend decided to get rid of it. I doesn’t meter very well from a powder measure, at least my Lee powder measure. I’m seeing a variance of +/- 0.4gr from my target charge weight. Verify the consistency of charge weights if you’re using an adjustable powder measure.
I’ve loaded mine to an an OAL of to 1.095 to 1.10, using mixed brass. All drop in and seat flush in my EGW chamber checker block. They cycle through my Canik TP9 V2, Ruger PCC, CZ-85B, and my 9mm AR build.
