I have been loading 115gr JRN over 4.0gr Tightgroup for several months now with great success with an COL of 1.100. Decided to increase powder charge to 4.1gr for increased FPS on my last 100rds but haven’t shot them yet to see the difference if any on accuracy. With the latest ammo shortage scare, I ordered 4# of CFE and 2,000 CCI primers. On November 1st I intend on ordering 500 124gr Nuke bullets for self defense just in case things go south with this upcoming election. Hodgdon load data showes a load of CFE between 4.5 and 5.1gr with a COL of 1.060 using 0.355 HDY XTP bullets. I usually starts my loads somewhere in the middle. What are your thoughts on this?
