Hey Jack. Understand about components. Hit or miss on the East coast. Have been able to find a lot of stuff but PRICEY…

I usually shoot the hottest, most accurate load that I can find for a powder I want to use for the vast majority of my rifle loads. For hunting (medium to large bore) if I can keep 5 shots under 1moa I’m happy (given expected limitations of a gun/caliber…meaning I don’t really hold my older lever guns or iron sighted guns to that standard, modern bolts or gas guns I do). My small bore (223, 6mm, 6.5, etc) I want as tight as I can get most of them. Haven’t played with the 69 or 75 from RMR much but am working on it. Hopefully life will slow down a bit so I can work up some loads.

Wow…nothing huh?? Was hoping there were some hunters or testers on here. Reckon I’ll have to figure out some “redneckery” and test when I can carve out the time.

Hope you don’t mind my tagging on here, but a 30 cal 3GH would be great. I shoot way more 308 than 300BO, but I’d settle for either to start with!

Happy to provide what help I can. You may also want to check on the Glock forum. (www.glocktalk.com) since you are loading for a G20. Used to have one but only have the G29 and G40 now. (Plus a 1911).

When loading for bullets I can’t locate data on, I look around at multiple sources for similar bullets. Then start low and work up as usual.

MOST of the time, I believe the only issue you will find is terminal performance between bullets designed for the 40 vs 10mm. Bullets primarily designed to work well at 40 cal velocity may over expand or fragment at 10mm velocities and have insufficient penetration. (If you are worried about terminal performance)

As always YMMV but I’ve not run into an issue with bullets between the 40 and 10mm and I shoot a LOT of pulls and blems.

Photos would help if they can be posted here. I didn’t order any, but I have ordered and used quite a few pulled or blem bullets (many of which aren’t available as reloading components).

What are your “requirements” for suitability in the 10mm? I haven’t found a projo yet (save most lead or some plated projos) that I wouldn’t consider “suitable” due to potential leading of the barrel. Haven’t had any issues with jacketed bullets shooting in either the .40 or 10 (and yes, I actually load to 10mm velocities).

@Joe, glad all is well. Unfortunately, both I and a friend have both found ourselves in that situation. Based on my experience and your info, @Kirk is right…primer alone, no powder. Had that happen to one of my 10mm’s in competition.

Good luck and pay attention. Have my reloaders setup now so I can see in the case as I seat a bullet. Also spent the money on some LED lighting for inside the turret area. WELL worth it!

    All the best.

VERY much looking forward to future offerings in 45 and 10mm/40!!

    Voting for 230 grain 45’s and 200 grain 10mm

180 grain 40/10mm would be fine as well.
