With 1.060″ OAL, I could pass the plunk test in my Glock 17/19 Gen 4 barrels, but had to go down to 1.048″ in order to pass in my Glock 48.
I use 5.1 gr CFE Pistol for a good range load, mixed brass with a WSP primer.
I have ran them all of the way up to 5.5gr @ 1200 fps out of my Glock 17, but that was a very hot load and would not recommend going that high, it was definitely the upper bounds with a seating depth of 1.048″.
I”ve had great results with the RMR 69gr bullets using this load out of a Savage 12FV 223 with a 26″ Barrel:
Brass: Lapua
Powder: Shooters World Precision
Primer: CCI 400
Charge: 23.6gr
Base To Ogive: 1.913″
Velocity: 2917 fps
I have repeatedly seen groups under 1/2″ with this rifle, several near 1/4″.
Be careful with that seating depth, it’s pretty close to the lands on this rifle and will need to be adjusted accordingly!
