ParticipantSorry for stirring such a big pot. I had been a RMR . I started to buy 9 mm plated bullets back in the 2015 -2016 time frame, or close to then. I still wear the T-Shirt that says ” I survived the gun control panic of 2013″ but I have had my wife add the year from 2020 to this year. It’s still in good shape and I figure it will be around for another 10 years or so.
Whoever did your original plated bullets did a great job. I just recently dug out an old bag of 45 ACP in 230 Gr. Looks exactly like the XTreem or Berry’s I buy.
I hope you find a building to expand into and go into either copper plating or polymer coatings. I do my own Polymer coatings, but would look to buy when I’m in a crunch and RMR would be my first company to look at.

ParticipantI was the same way. RMR was my go to for plated bullets in 9 mm (124 Gr) and 45 ACP (230 Gr), but after they moved, they quit making the plated and went to FMJ. I really miss their plated bullets, they were very accurate and a great price. My mail lady is happy they quit making them as they shipped via USPS. I used to leave her notes as to when I made an order so she could tell the inside people to just put them in a bin so she could dump them off into my house. Worked well for me as I am a disabled veteran and cannot lift the boxes. I would split them up to take them down to my reloading room.

ParticipantI agree! I started using RMR plated bullets back when they first started. I’ve shot thousands of their plated 9 mm and 45 ACP bullets and wish they would go back into the plating business again as the prices was among the best in the market. Now all I can get in plated are Berry’s and Extreem bullets and I’m not happy with the costs and shipping costs.
