I use a Hornady die with a modified VLD stem, I did a little polishing to get a little better fit in the stem. Most of the time runout is less than .0015 with an occassional .002. I just set the bullets on top of the case and guide it into the die and seat in 3 steps and turn the case at each step. Seems to work for me.

I took a friend of mine’s great grandson deer hunting tonight. My friend passed away not too long back, I was keeping a promise I made to him. The boy is 10 years old and got his first deer tonight with a 75 grain 3GH bullet. The deer was about 60 yards away on a small hillside, the bullet caught the edge of the shoulder and exited mid ribs on the other side. The exit wound was more than 2 inches in diameter. The top of the heart was blown up and the lungs destroyed. The deer went about 30 yards into the woods with a blood trail that anybody could have followed. Pretty good for a 556. It made a memory that neither one of us will ever forget.

I just ran some ladders with Staball Match powder. It looks really promising. All groups were about 1/2 inch.
I shot the 75 grain 3GH bullets and Sierra 77 grain SMK.
Bullets were fired from a 20 inch custom build 223 wylde 1:8 barrel. The 3GH bullets grouped slightly better than the SMK and speed was also a little better. SDs were 4.4 3GH and 4.7 for SMK. Best group was a .227 from the 3GH and. 375 from the SMK. Best speed was 3GH 2714, SMK 2658. Neither load was maxed out. I think I can get a higher node on both before seeing pressure signs. I shot these using IR night vision scope during daylight. I have coyotes in my food plot and I have to fix that problem before I do more testing.

The guys at RMR are making some good bullets.
My results were pretty close to yours . Shooters World Precision Rifle powder is very close to Varget. I got better accuracy with it but more speed with CFE223. I just got a 8 # jug of Shooters world Match Rifle, hasn’t been available for about 2 years, I think I am going to give it a try too. Hunting season is wide open now and broken guns are keeping me pretty busy. Hopefully after the first of the year I will be able to get back to shooting paper more. Got 1 deer before they went nocturnal.
If you haven’t tried the Shooters World powders you might want to give them a try, performance as good as the big names but cost less.

There is a picture out of a pig shot by one, went thru both shoulders and exit wound was over 2 inches wide. Message Jake at sales@rmrbullets.com and have him send you a picture. I am running them @ 2780 through a 20″ 223 wylde barrel could get them a little faster but 2780 was my best node. They are .5 moa at 100 yards.

Sounds good, do you know what the speed is on them. I think I am running them pretty close to 3000 FPS . Haven’t really tried to push them much harder I am already in the 556 load data.
I am pretty impressed with the 69 and 75 grain bullets. I have had some health issues lately and haven’t got to shoot . I hope to try both at 200 yards soon. There is a 200 yard DNR range about an hour drive from my house.

Hornady Custom Grade dies, seating die has micro adjustment. I crimp lightly with Lee collet crimp. I ran some ladders, SDs and spreads were pretty low . If I remember correctly the SD at .2 grains below max was 4.8, that group was under 3/8″. I am at work but I will try to get some more numbers. Don’t know how to load pictures or I would do that.

The barrel is 223 wylde. It is my first wylde barrel but I like it, seems to be real tolerant to different bullets.

Tried to reply from email but didn’t seem to work. I shot those in a 20 inch BCA 1 in 8 twist barrel. It is a pretty nice build not real fancy or expensive, MBA 1 LUTH stock on a stripped out Delton lower and a POF 3.5 # straight trigger. BCA uppers get bashed sometimes on reviews but I have 3 builds using them and have been happy with all three. I have a 458 Socom that shoots clover leafs with about anything you put in it.

I was running them in a 24 inch Anderson fluted bull 1:8 barrel. You need a longer barrel to get the best out of the Precision Rifle powder. I had good results with CFE223 in my shorter barrels. Pretty much all groups were MOA or better. They ran good in a 20 inch 223 Wylde also.

I had great results with Shooters World Precision Rifle powder. Loaded in the 556 pressure range. Shot 9 shot groups, couldn’t get 10th round in my 10 round magazine, all groups could be covered with a nickel. Speed averaged just over 2800. I didn’t have much luck with TAC either. CFE223 did OK but not as good as Precision . I really like the powder, works great in 308 165 and 168 grain bullets too.
