The 124 gr JHP MPR has become my go to bullet for all my 9mm loads. I use Hodgdon CFE Pistol exclusively and found that 4.9 gr works best, for me. COL is determined by the plunk and spin test for all 4 barrels and final length is determined by subtracting .010 from where the bullet contacts the lands. . I have 3 CZz and one Staccato. COL ranges from 1.046 to 1.115. 1.046 COL for the Shadow2, 1.077 for the PCR and TSO, and 1.115 for the Staccato. I’m not so sure I’m gaining any accuracy by customizing the COL. I didn’t bother using a chronograph because all loads were well below the max recommended by Hodgdon.
