Palmetto dagger s 9mm 4.5” barrel w/ vortex venom 3 moa dot. Rmr 124 fmj rn ( seconds) w/ 4.2 gr of vv n320 @ 1.131 produces 1071 fps ave and one ragged hole at 10 yds. Super clean and bullseye accurate! My other load of win 231 4.5 gr@ 1.130 with same bullet was great too but n320 is so clean and less recoil, excellent bullets!

I load to 1.125 in all my normal throat guns. I have loaded from 1.080-1.130 with 4.0 titegroup, 6.4 hs6, 5.5 be86, 5.8 be86,(sd /hd rounds), 4.2 sport pistol and 1.080 and 1.125 were the most accurate with all loads with 1.080 the best. I mostly load 5.5 be86 @1.125 but have recently acquired a palmetto state armory full size dagger and the max coal is 1.085. It is a reasonably stout load but no pressure signs what so ever. Would be curious what quickload would put the pressure at for this load.

I’ve been doing extensive testing on the new 124 nuke jhp. Proper oal/ seating depth seems to be the question everyone asks due to no published data for these projectiles. As mentioned in posts above, Nosler 124 jhp is nearly identical, RMR @.542” and Nosler @.545”, so that is a .003 difference between the two. I’ve been testing with a Ruger SR9C 3.9” pistol and a 10.5” Palmetto AR9 pistol. The powders tested are titegroup,HS6, and BE86. Titegroup @4.0 gr 1.10 is very accurate and a safe pressure load in my firearms. HS6@6.8 gr 1.08 was also very accurate and showed no pressure signs at all, good velocity as well(1161 fps ave). Now BE86 is a whole other level of awesome in the 9mm. 5.8 gr@ 1.12(which is .1 gr below Alliants max published) clocked at 1222 fps average from a 3.9” barrel! The combo also yields a .75”- 5 shot group’s consistently @10 yds. I have tested oal variations with this load down to 1.060 with no pressure signs. I’ve went beyond published data with astounding velocity results (1250+)but not quite the accuracy I was looking for. RMR 124 nukes with BE86 seems to be the ultimate affordable self defense ammo combo you can get. The loads mentioned are deemed safe in my firearms but should be reduced by 10% and worked up. From all the testing I have done, 1.125-1.080 seems to be the sweet spot for this projectile depending on your firearms needs and powder charge. RMR nukes for the win!!!
