Description
Yes, these are actual LC LR M118 unfired primed cases! They are essentially new cases that from demilled military sniper ammunition. They have the normal Lake City spotting but, once loaded, they will shine up nicely in your vibratory tumbler. The primers are not crimped. Like with all new brass, it is recommended that you resize the neck of this brass before loading to ensure that you have consistent neck tension. This can be accomplished by removing the decapping pin from your resizing die. They are from multiple lots of ammunition, so there will be different years printed on the headstamps.
We do not see these often, so they will be gone soon.
As is the case with all demilled products, you may find a few mixed headstamps. However, from what we’ve seen, nearly all of this brass is manufactured by Lake City! Please note that Lake City cases are generally dirtier than our standard cases. This may have something to do with them being military cases.
