Description
These are brand new copper jacketed FMJ bullets. They have a cannelure and a boat tail with a flat base. These will work great in any .308 caliber rifle that shoots 147 grain bullets, but especially for heavy metal 3-gunners. They are lead-core bullets and will not attract a magnet.

Got 750 of these for 300 BLK, could only get them to shoot about 2 1/2″ groups, and tried 4 powders. Final was AA 1680 at 20.1 gr with Rem 7.5 primers, 2.140 COAL.

Well upon initially looking at these bullets from the top they look perfect. As I started examining them closer I noticed that the lead on the bullet sometimes over flowed around the jacket. So I got out my calipers, and scale. There is no consistency in their length or weight. I ordered 500 and not one weighed 147 grains or even withing 0.1 of a grain of 147 grains they ranged from 146 grains to 148.1 grains. Loaded them up anyway and took them to the range. Now mind you I normally get sub moa out of my Remington, but the best I could get it to Don with these was 4″ at 100 yards. I love rmr, and get all my non match bullets for .223 from them, but these were a major let down, and I ordered 750 of them. I guess I’ll hold on to them for if the time comes I can’t find any other bullets to load.

Good plinking bullets, I don’t regret my purchase. However if your expecting any kind of accuracy or consistent seating. I’d recommend something else. I bought 1000 so I’ll be busy for a while but next purchase will be the mag tech 147g. They would be well worth the money if they were a little cheaper. Other than that RMR is my go to for bullets. Fast shipping and good customer service.
